This trendy, chic, gourmet restaurant has incredible views being located right near the River Seine within the extended part of the Palais de Tokyo, and provides French cuisine with light meals along with a full a la carte menu available.

It was when the Palais de Tokyo was extended in 2012, making this unusual museum in Paris one of the largest contemporary art exhibition centres in Europe, that a new restaurant was also to be incorporated within the site.

Perched right by the River Seine in the newly renovated wing of the Palais de Tokyo, it was designed by the architect Joseph Dirand, who wanted this restaurantto be cosmopolitan and have international appeal, yet also to be sleek, chic and stylish in order to complement the views and what would be a gourmet restaurant in Paris with a difference.

The concept was to provide a place where friend could meet, lovers could enjoy a romantic meal, and business people could mingle with tourists in a space where you can dine in comfort, enjoy the bar area or even have a dance.

And whether you wish to have a snack, nibble, bar food or go for a full blown a la carte meal with a lovely selection of wines to match, the choice is yours, with a very varied menu that can cater for most budgets. And to give you an idea, an a la carte option ranges in price from around €30 to €50 as 2014 depending upon what you decide to order.

But you could enjoy French delicacies of cuisine such as frogs legs and foie gras, but there are many classics such as steak tartare, through to dressed crab and comfort foods like a lobster roll or fried chicken sandwich. Yet there are plenty of other options including roast chicken, turbot, sea bass carpaccio, warm and cold salads, even cheeseburgers, etc, not forgetting very tempting desserts.
